The Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) is a governing body established by the government of Dubai to regulate and oversee the real estate sector in the emirate. Article 14 of RERA stipulates that unless an agreement is made between the involved parties to the contrary, any party wishing to modify the terms of the Tenancy Contract in line with Article 13 of this Law is required to inform the other party no less than ninety (90) days before the expiration of the Tenancy Contract. This provision ensures that both parties have adequate time to consider and negotiate any proposed changes, fostering communication and preventing potential disputes related to sudden or unexpected modifications to the agreement.
