What is property law in Dubai?

Property law in Dubai is a set of regulations and laws that govern the ownership, transfer, and management of real estate properties in the emirate. It includes laws related to land development, construction, buying and selling of properties, leasing and renting agreements, and property disputes. These laws are constantly evolving to keep up with the rapid growth of Dubai’s real estate sector.

What is Article 14 of RERA?

Article 14 of RERA stipulates that unless an agreement is made between the involved parties to the contrary, any party wishing to modify the terms of the Tenancy Contract in line with Article 13 of this Law is required to inform the other party no less than ninety (90) days before the expiration of the Tenancy Contract. This provision ensures that both parties have adequate time to consider and negotiate any proposed changes, fostering communication and preventing potential disputes related to sudden or unexpected modifications to the agreement.
